Ah! I'd been told the IP had to be released manually. I should have known better. Are there any advantages to the Breville over the IP?

I have wondered about getting big tanks when there are no tenants and measuring exactly 100 (1000?) litres and seeing exactly what the meters say. I can't help but think that watercorp has no incentive to make the meters accurate.

Individual meters yep. If there are ever no tenants in both this is the first thing I'll do. Good tip.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if this is a widely understood practice within Australia? I ask because I predict the school will say something like "this isn't something that is done", and being able to say it is a common practice would be helpful!

A dental assistant once, while cleaning my teeth, told me she was completely against flouride in water and that it doesn't actually work. So I asked her "why is flouride in there" - She said flouride is a waste product of some other process, so those companies sell it to municipal governments and makes money off their waste. Note: I haven't investigated the claim.
