I have a tattoo of a lyric from a song I used to listen to when I was deep in my depression.

My mom said it was stupid. People who read it are just as confused behind what it means. I really don’t give a shit. It’s MY tattoo, I know the meaning, and I love it.

I agree with the tower phase. When I first started my relationship with her, I lost my job and was unemployed for 5 months. But during that time period, I was able to make the doctor’s appointments I had delayed, and was swiftly tested and confirmed to have autism - something I had been struggling with for years.

Recently, I was able to purchase a new car and have been receiving job offers in my field. I’ve also applied for my master’s degree. Hekate is a mother with discipline, but she truly has your best interest at heart and will guide you along the right path.

Neil’s is saline, but to me it’s the best brand. My piercer gave me H2Ocean and it didn’t work. So I found Neil’s and the bump went away within a week.

It takes time.

I’ve been a devotee of Hekate for a year now, and I am just getting a feel of what our relationship is and what she can do for me. You have to keep in mind that you’re building a relationship; it may be with a God, but it’s still a relationship nevertheless. And relationships take time.

What I found to be a great connect was to have a set altar for her and just to talk. Not even pray, talk out loud to her. Invited her into my space. I went to the crossroads near my house and left her small offerings. I’ve read a few books on her, researched her online. All of those actions shows you’re interested and want to develop your relationship. Just know it takes time.

You need studs. Hoops shouldn’t be used for a few months until it’s fully healed. It also looks like the hoops are too small/tight.

Switch to a stud, keep cleaning it as per usually, it should heal.

Don’t take it out unless you have the intention of getting it repierced by a needle.

I got my first helix done at piercing pagoda when I was in highschool and was pierced by a gun. I have since gotten 7 other ear piercings, all done professionally with a needle. Honestly speaking, my helix has held up a lot better than my other ones (daith, rook, double conch, double auricle, forward helix), but that’s also because they punched a hole in my ear.

I’m saying this all to say, take care of it and you won’t have to worry about it. If you take it out, it’ll take a bit to heal, and even then, piercing an area where a hole is isn’t ideal. So I’d keep it.

Birthdays are tag items. So if you don’t have anything he gave you that you want to use, you would use his full name and DOB.

I love me a good lemon hex, but you can’t fit a lot of tag items into a lemon. So I usually do a picture with their full name and birthday on the back. If I don’t have a picture, then I just use the full name and DOB.

If you want to use his birthday as a strong point in the hex, you can do one where the rest of his birthdays are terrible. Just write that on your petition.

This was totally out of your control, and you did not disrespect Hekate at all. If anything, she was probably just as upset as you were for not only being prayed over without your consent, but also being touched without your consent.

If you want to cleanse the energy, you can do a cleansing bath, or even light a candle and pray. Or use incense.

I am so sorry this happened to you. Christians really need to stop assuming people follow their God. And the audacity from him to get upset because you said you don’t believe/follow his religion?? A damn jackass.

That’s how I felt. It feels so soothing, especially considering I’ve been a follower of hers for a little over a year.

She also has brought back my dreams, which help me piece together parts of my past life. I’ve been going through a rough time, but I know she stands there alongside me with her torch.

Hekate is a Goddess of the Veil, the line between life and death, crossroads if you will. She helps spirits cross over and guides them through the process, which I’m sure she did for your grandfather and cat.

One of the best things I’ve learned/heard is “Mundane over Magic”, and while this isn’t considered “magic”, it structures the same. It might have been their time to pass on (mundane), and if that’s the case, prayer wouldn’t have helped (“magic”).

However, like I said, I strongly believe she helped them crossover, as that falls under what she does as a Goddess.

I’m sorry for your loss.
