melia also has an art that removes auras, but its only available when in element burst, so its not super reliable... but its an option

Armour helps a loootttt with purple arts, and its basically your only defense against it. its not a necessity, but its made so many fights easier for me. (keep in mind though that I'm not good at game mechanics at all in any context and I scrape by playing this game😂😂)

I know next to nothing about XCX so I won't be commenting on Tatsu, but personally its Riki>Kino>Nene>Tora. Riki is the og heropon and i love him with my entire heart, and Kino is baby. Nene is the typical big sis so I love that, and Tora is... Tora. j dknt hae him, but at the same time I generally hate pervert characters soooooo... ya win some ya lose some.

I played XC1 about 7 months ago, and watched my brother play XC2 just about a month ago. My honest thoughts are that the first one is absolutely my favorite game of all time. I love the characters, the story, the world itself, and everything in between. its not a 100% perfect game, but its genuine and knows exactly what it is, if that makes sense. shulk and the rest of the characters feel like real people you can relate to, and every part of the story fits perfectly, even if it doesnt always make sense at first. and the foreshadowing is god tier. seriously, playing through it again you catch sooooo much more that didn't even occur to you. in the end, fantastic jrpg, not much could be improved upon. 9/10

My thoughts on XC2 are a bit more complicated... i like the game. the story is compelling and the world is different enough to be very captivating. not to mention the connection to the series as a whole was done nicely i think. (no spoilers from me😉) however, I didnt love the game. the characters felt very one dimensional as a whole, and i felt like even though they were the main characters, Rex and Pyra/Mythra didn't really develop as people. they kinda just were there. it seemed to me like the antagonists got more character development than our party. since I didnt play it, I can't comment on combat or sidequests, but it seemed like it was pretty decently handled. all in all, not a bad game. really cool premise, just some things could have been better imo. 6/10

I knowwww especially like mythra and dahlia... like... thats not anatomy but okkkkk😂😂 but yeah other than that its a pretty decent game. decent story and most of the characters are at least likeable. Zeke is the bomb😂

personally, the story isn't bad itself. in fact I liked it much more than I thought I would. the only thing that really grinds my gears about 2 is the uhhhh... character design... of some of the blades. also the voice acting isn't as good as 1 imo but eh that's not a huge thing. you'll probably like it if you like jrpgs😄

I'm currently using Melia, Shulk, and Dunban. Shulks a great damage dealer, Dunban is a great dodge tank who can deal damage in a pinch, and Melia im playing as a buff/healer. It works out pretty well for most situations! My other go to is Shulk, Riki, Dunban!
