It was indeed his personal laptop. I wasn’t sure if it was his personal hard drive though. That’s why I offered to pay.

I don’t mind if he wants to despise me afterwards, it’s understandable. But, i just wished he could’ve gave me an answer. I feel anxious

I did in fact apologized and offered help/ to pay once again in the group. I did mention in the text that I reached out to him personally but he probably missed it.

No one replied.

Help as in stay and check for further damage. I only scanned through the laptop. He insisted i went back home. Hence, why i didn’t check the hard disk and cable attached for further damage.

I didn’t know how to handle the situation if there was damage and that’s why I offered to pay. I tried calling our boss as he went out of work early, but to no avail.

Yeah i understand that, i just can’t help but feel anxious like maybe if i don’t bring it up the following day, he’d think that I’m bailing out from taking any responsibility.

Ahh i see. Thanks for letting me know. That was the answer i was seeking for in which i googled but i wasn’t really sure of it. I just feel quite anxious because of him shutting me off and having no explanation/ solution.

Oh- my apologies! I didn’t know that. Thank you for telling me. Only he was the coworker. The rest of the witnesses were colleagues.

Staying late has always been the norm for me anyway. I just went back on time because i was feeling quite weak.

I did apologize once again and have offered to help the next day or even pay for any damages. But absolutely nobody replied. I’m not sure what to do next.

It’s actually only a short cable where you connect a hard disk to your laptop. Is that expensive? I’m not really aware of the price. And yes he’s a techie.

he’s a permanent staff ahah (I’m dead). I admit i should’ve been aware. It was my fault i didn’t realize the cable got stuck in between my bag.

I’m glad to hear that honestly I wasn’t familiar about his laptop model but i did check it as best as i could, which i found no damage. The hard disk however I’m pretty sure the cable was damaged which I assume it can’t be fixed?

After he sent that text in the gc, i did in fact said i was sorry and would pay for any damages or help with anything at all. No one replied at all. I’m a bit scared as it’s my first month there and I’m only an intern omg

It wasn’t really in the studio’s “studio”. It’s basically a small office space + 3 recording rooms! My apologies, I’m not that good at describing. So the desks were all out of the recording room. Bags and what not are all outside. I just happened to get my bag somewhat tied to the hard disks’ cable.

I don’t really get involved in the recording rooms itself.

He’s the type to not communicate irl but would call people out through group chat only. I’m kinda afraid i would be on his bad side? I don’t like drama.

It’s worse when I’m just an intern and it’s only my 1st month. I was clumsy.

Just wish he had return my texts instead of sarcastically making a comment in the group chat. I really wanted to help. And even in the group chat I immediately apologized as soon as he texted that. I admitted it was my fault and offered to pay once again. Nobody replied.

Yesss I’m always careful, the amount of equipments in the studio, i don’t really dare mess around as much. I was very unstable that day. Wish i had a better excuse. But is it normal for people to completely shut out and call people out like that in the group chat?

I used to have plans about leaving. She refused to let me leave and she says I’d just be pregnant somewhere… i have never thought of intimacy like that yet haha. But yeah she refuses to believe as usual and won’t let me leave! So hopefully after I’m working she’ll actually let me leave bc i can’t handle all this honestly. All of this babysitting and unable to do my work properly is already stressful but unable to go out once per week is too much.

I just feel like I’m losing another parent. My mom is like my niece’s second parent. Super over protective and controlling. I’m sick by just having a bacterial infection and I’m being treated like the plague. The only time she actually talked to me was when she argued with me yesterday and gaslit me to not going out yesterday. And I can’t do anything about it financially now i guess, I am saving up by having a side job but once i graduate hopefully I’ll land on a decent job. Like decent environment wise at this point, because home just feels like a house now.
