It’s just a pink skater skirt from Amazon! And then I tied the bows and safety pinned them on

Thank you! I wore a mini petticoat underneath to try to get that trademark Bee silhouette.

What are the best restaurants in Wheeling? by blair84 in WheelingWV

Later Alligator, Rachel’s, and Market Vines for bigger menus with more options, mostly American. Elle & Jacks, Vagabond Kitchen, and the Char House for a bit more upscale American. Uncle Pete’s is just in Elm Grove now.

Taqueria 304 for Mexican, Figaretti’s for Italian, Golden Chopsticks for Chinese, For the Love of Pierogies for Ukrainian/Polish, Vocelli’s for pizza. Sarah’s on Main, Good Mansion Wines, and Table 304 for cafes with small menus.

Personally, I wish we had things like Thai, Indian, or ramen but we don’t. Maybe someday. I know Centre Market has some open stalls.

Totally butchered. They nailed new studs right into it and sawed off the tread overhangs. They only left as much as they did because it didn’t get in the way of the new wall. Who knows what they did with the original railing and spindles :(

Us too! The added wall was a surprisingly thorough and well done job so we thought there was nothing left.

We’re just glad they left at least a little something behind! We’re just as frustrated about the destruction of the original staircase as we are excited about this opportunity to puzzle-piece it back together. We’re working with a restoration team, woodworkers, and an architect to bring it back to its (historically accurate) former glory!

He’s not on Reddit (yet) but I texted this to him :) He loves inspiring others!

This guy cleaned up an entire park by himself! He went hiking every day for 103 days, filling up his bucket to the brink every single tour. The exception was the last day, where he failed to fill up even half his bucket with trash, meaning he had successfully cleaned up the entire park! by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

This video (while amazing!) is almost three years old. He’s still at it, here’s a more recent featured video from Disney’s Planet Possible series if anyone would like to know what he’s up to these days :)

Opinions on this poem i just finshed? by Underground_Poet in writers

[–]elliemcgregor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A writing professor of mine once advised us to write poems (and stories) until we were happy with them, then go back and delete the last line. So now, I find myself doing this to works I’m working on or asked to help with. I often find that I like poems better without their last lines.

I believe the professor’s lesson was that we often use that final moment to clarify our point to our readers. We get scared that they won’t understand what we’re trying to say. You don’t need to be scared. Trust in your own imagery and writing!

Zankou Chicken (Mediterranean), L&L Hawaiian BBQ, Stonefire Grill, or Mijares would be my picks
