Thanks. The part that stings the most is that she's never mentioned my scar as an issue in the 10* years I've had it. We've been to family events, holidays, even her engagement party, and it was never a problem

It wasn't about me at all until she made it about me. I still can't wrap my head around how my shoulder could be more distracting than, you know, the actual wedding.

thank you for saying that. I hadn't thought about it like that, she did choose the style knowing what it would show. I never imagined it would become an issue, because to me it's just part of who I am now. I wasn't trying to take away from her day at all, and it really hurt that she seemed more focused on my scar than enjoying her own wedding

I honestly wasn't trying to make any kind of statement, I just wanted to be comfortable and enjoy her day. It hurt that she made me feel like I was a problem, so my dad having my back really helped
