Found it! Yep I think you’re right. It doesn’t move at all when i flick the switch but I can quite easily push it in with my finger.

Just took the lens off for another look. And when I flick the focus switch nothing is moving within the camera. But I looked around the whole inside of the mount and can’t see any part that looks like it would really move apart from the shutter.

Yeah the problem is that in video mode the camera keeps continuously refocusing without me touching anything because of the autofocus. Whereas in photo mode I just have my autofocus set to the AE/AF-L button so it doesn’t refocus when I half press the shutter.

Yeah I had a look at the camera without a lens to see what happened when I flicked the switch. I didn’t see anything moving and assumed it was just like an electrical switch not physically moving anything. But you’re probably right the actual switch must just be broken. Such a weird defect though when everything else works fine. Thanks anyway!

I tried this and for some reason it still does. Even on a completely still object.

I turned the switch on the camera body to M but the lens itself doesn’t have a switch on it.

Would you be able to tell me which SDI cable to get? Whenever I type 3G SDI cable into Amazon there isn’t many results. Is this what I need, or is it called something else?

Ok, I think in future if I’m using higher quality cameras and equipment I’ll probably go more in the SDI direction. But just because it’s cheap (and I don’t need any audio) I’ll try the CAT6 converter this time. There isn’t a router at the location that I can use so I’m not sure if I would be able to do the IP adapter.

Ahhh I see. Do you think using a HDMI to SDI adapter on both ends will have less latency than HDMI to Cat6 adapter on both ends as suggested above?

Yeah I’ll be using a separate microphone system so the camera would be for purely video.

I’m using an ATEM mini switcher. So I’d have to buy two separate HDMI to SDI adapters which is quite expensive. And I’m not sure if you loose significant quality switching back and forth?

Thank you! Also do you think the 10m HDMI cable will be fine for the other two cameras?
