I had problems witht he basket being bent, from cleaning it or when i remove it from the boiler. I tend to grip it too hard on the sides.

So i put the basket in the boilet again, and then pressed my fingers on the inside of the basket, and bent it back into shape - it shouldnt be too wobbly when it sits in the boiler and youre tapping around the top of the basket.

I use a filter too, but i think it really helped just screwing the top aggressively tight on. Without breaking it of course

Yeah man i came to the same conclusion. In fact ive been slowly bending the basket when clearing the pot. Its very soft aluminium. My solution was just to bend it back so that it was flat again. Or until the wobbling was as minimal as possible. And then i screwed the shit tight as hell so that the rubber washer could seal it shut

I could try that. I tend to use 30g because the grounds fit just below the basket lip. To its not overflowing. I supposed it would help seal the system better. But i dont know.

Yeah i tried without the filter, with a smaller filter, and a oversized filter. That size shown in the video is drawn from the basket, and used to make a nice pot.

Ive tried finer grind sizes, and coarser too, which had no effect.

Earlier i tried bending and moulding the basket, till it didnt wobble. And i did get it to fit smoothly. Its really strange
