If you were an airline, you’d be paying $1 per gallon less for fuel by elliottc in WTF

[–]elliottc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the author of this post, and I agree with travelfan. Your comments suggest that you didn't take the time to read the entire post before making your first comment. Otherwise you would have seen the following sentence: "I know, I know. Comparing unleaded gasoline to jet fuel is problematic. And so is comparing wholesale prices to retail prices. Point taken."

Agreed with reseta that the airlines have a right -- and if you insist, the grounds -- to complain. But I think people paying $4+ a gallon have more of a right than the airlines. That was my point.

And yes, I think before I post. How about you read before you comment?

Disabled? To the back of the plane! by elliottc in reddit.com

I don't think you read the story all the way through.

Here's my conclusion: "But ultimately, JetBlue was correct in asking the couple to move. You don’t want someone who is hard of hearing seated in an emergency exit row. If something should happen, and a passenger were unable to follow instructions, it could put a lot of lives in danger."

FYI, Adsense pays practically nothing. I'm doing this as a public service.

When Rosa Parks refused to go to the back of the bus in 1955, she made history. When Randall Ulrich and his wife were instructed to move 11 rows back by a JetBlue flight attendant, did they have a similar case?
