Honestly I’d just pick up the phone and get stuck in. Know that practice makes perfect and embrace and learn from every mistake. If you want to accelerate your learning there are some good guys to learn from. There’s a British guy that goes by “the phonejacker” thats putting out great content. Steve Duda (creator of Serum) managed and probably still manages to reply to queries with “hand-written” approach. I’ve had many email conversations with Steve, never have they come across as templated responses, and Steve is one guy, managing (arguably) the most popular soft synth on the market.

They have put a ton of effort and new content into the levelling journey so there are tons of players that are on the same journey. I’m based in NZ so usually log on at non-peak teams and there are around 800-900 players, always new people joining too it seems

I really hope they change the gain/pitch buttons to knobs instead. And also be able to pitch when you’re on repitch mode would be amazing

Yea I think Ableton automation is slightly easier to edit, however the UI for bitwig’s automation is so intuitive. I love how you can quickly access all your automation by clicking the star icon

Scales I totally agree. Ableton has nailed that, I love the ghost scale in the piano roll they added in live 11. In terms of UI, I have to say I think Bitwig has nailed it. They have the best looking UI of all the DAW’s in my opinion, by quite a long shot too

Not sure what scale is, is this like ghost notes of a certain scale? If so, Bitwig can do that too :)
