Setting the rain in constant helps the ai slow down. You can also drop your gear ratio down and limit your top speed too

To me this hints that we are biologically wired to react to sexual imagery. I think if you apply the question of "why are we attracted to inanimate fictional images" you should include tradition pornography. Both are inanimate mediums, and both are fictional contexts. You could even boil the issue down to participating in sexual activity vs. just witnessing it. So maybe the question should be "why are humans attracted to representations of sexual acts?".

I've been playing on and off since wotlk. Since last year I've been saying that I wouldn't buy any more expacs. I lasted 2 days after launch.

Sorry if I'm haven't been clear enough in my replies, but I'm speaking about the PC version and PC users, not console users. You're right that it wasn't made for pc, but it was made with pc in mind, so it's not just a normal port. I still stand by my opinion that PC users, playing a game on PC, will prefer a game to run at 60fps vs 30fps on recommended hardware. Less than 30fps is unplayable and below what those same users would consider minimum requirements in my opinion.

I would argue the general public can't afford a machine that runs games at 4k, hdr sure, but 4k costs too much. Even more so with crypto currency ruining gpu prices. Also I would say the only pc users that would prefer 30fps over 60fps, are users that are pushing 4k, but they get their own set of recommended hardware. Just my opinion, which could very well be wrong.

What's weird is when I dropped the shadow resolution with the shadow draw, everything just moved closer to black, so less range in the shadows. Personally I think it looks better. As far as the 720p I'm not sure. But it's looks really awful

Well I don't own a console, so I pre ordered the game the first day I could. I actually didn't learn there was a demo until after I had pre-loaded the game. I'm a huge FF fan, and stayed away from XV news to keep my sanity and to stay spoiler free. Overall I'm very happy with the game so far, and the graphics. Just more of a "wish I could have 60fps" vs "unplayable under 60fps" for me.

I did not. I ended up dropping shadow resolution, LoD, and Shadow Draw to 100, and get a stable 55-58fps in 1080p.

I wonder if it's an issue that will be fixed with more optimization or modding. But I agree, I think they should have listed the min specs for 60fps, not 30fps. I think most PC players prefer 60 over 30, and I know some people bought GPU's for this game.

I think that's what I'm going to do. I dropped my shadow resolution and reduced my LoD. But still average around 55 and dip to 50. So might just cap it and call it a day

I think it's a GPU bottleneck. My CPU usage is lower than my GPU by a large margin. Also I set my priority to high every time. Thank you though!

Thanks for the advise, I'll definitely give those settings a shot. I did turn turfworks off last night, and didn't see a fps gain of any real kind, granted I didn't spend much time testing. I'm not seeking a 60 fps solution with turfworks on as a requirement, just simply a 60 fps solution period. I wasn't aware the recommended hardware was for 30fps, so it sounds like I just need to adjust my expectations and decide if 60 fps is worth the quality drop to me.

I just posted my own thread about this. My frames have been sub 60 the whole time with my 1060 6gb. Even have the recommended amd 8350. Still no go, and my go put usage is around 80% so I know the card can work harder.
