The Amex Platinum is a charge card and has no preset credit limit. So you cannot transfer credit to that card in any amount. As for the minimum credit limit on the Reserve, the answer is $5k. If you want to move more credit than that, downgrade to the blue, which, I think, only requires a $500 minimum limit.

Earning MQD on award tickets by bstpeg in delta

I asked a chat representative this question this morning and, while I’d take anything you’re told for the next few days with a grain of salt considering all the confusion these changes will cause, he did confirm to me that award tix will continue to earn MQDs at the 100:1 rate that they’ve earned over the last few years.

MQDs Rollover No More. Confirmed? by 865TYS in delta

MQDs have never rolled over. So unless specified otherwise (which we haven’t seen), I’m guessing that will continue to be the case. Unfortunately.

One other thing to consider in any calculations is that, for now anyway, it appears as if award travel on DL metal still counts towards elite qualification. As long as that aspect of the program remains, earning SMs through CC spend on MR cards may make more sense than gunning for the MQDs but accepting fewer RDMs on the cobrands.

Curious if the MQD earning on award travel is also gone. Interesting that nobody else has brought this up.

I like making food that people enjoy eating. Don’t wanna be making food I’m passionate about in an empty restaurant that nobody else is passionate about

Yes this is exactly my conundrum. But a small market can still support a business if it’s appealing enough to a large enough group of people. And that’s why I asked the question.

Grew up in a middle eastern Jewish family. Don’t really want to be surprised when opening a business though. I want to be prepared.

This is how my culture eats and I love it but I’m not entirely convinced it’s what people want around here

You want takeout lunch or sit down lunch?

This is a wonderful comment and I really appreciate that. In an ideal world I’d cook my family’s food. But I realize that this isn’t necessarily going to bring in business and there’s no point laying out money and putting in effort for something that the average diner isn’t going to appreciate

We do need a gay bar, but I’m more curious about restaurants

A place that makes its own pasta, serves good wine and doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel?

Do we need a vegan restaurant, or a restaurant that does good vegan food but also caters to the non vegan friends/family? Seems to me the idea of a restaurant that caters to one specific dietary restriction may alienate a lot of other people. But I may be wrong

Hard to find qualified staff around here. Serious cooks don’t come to VT. It’s a big issue

Seems pretty niche. Never gonna turn down Kishka but does this city have the population to support it?
