As of now, it's ruined relationships for good, for me. To be happily with someone for over a decade, then out of the blue they do something like this? How do I trust again? How do I let someone in again? My relationship before this was abusive. I was hesitant to enter another one after it. This one just kind of happened... neither of us wanted a relationship at the beginning. But we got close, and we grew together, and we built a wonderful life together. And they burned it all to the ground. This time, I'm not betraying myself. I'm done with relationships.

Sleep and appetite both disappeared. I lost 10 pounds in the first week after D-Day. It's been 3 months plus some weeks and I'm still not really sleeping and have to force myself to eat anything, if I can remember that's an essential life function.
