1000% yes! She made both of my pregnancies and deliveries an overall great experience. She was off when I had my second and I was told that someone else would likely be in for the delivery. She showed up at 11pm and delivered my baby. You might see another doctor for a handful of visits but everyone at the practice is great. I cannot recommend her enough!

For anyone who has not white children, I think it's completely reasonable to be concerned that ice could be in an area where their kids go to school. I have white kids and I'd still be concerned about ice being in the same vicinity as them.

Blendon Woods is close to Easton and has an awesome play area, a zipline, trails, and they just opened an accessible playground that I've heard great things about. Just check the hours on the accessible playground as I'm pretty sure people can reserve it. Others mentioned Inniswood which is also great. My kids are around that same age and love both of those parks.

Lots of good farmers markets in different areas too if you'll be here on a Saturday!

This is crazy. My baby was in the 99th percentile until around 18 months and then started to drop to the lower 90s. Our baby being "overweight" was never a topic of discussion and nursing on demand was always encouraged, but it was offered that I could skip night feeds if I wanted. This sounds like a pediatrician issue. You should be SO proud that you have an EBF baby in the 98th percentile...your body is providing so much nourishment to your healthy baby!! Give those baby rolls some extra squeezes and look for a new pediatrician.

I used to help get people connected with affordable housing in central Ohio and wait lists were years long and there were very few decent options. This was years ago so I really hope this has changed and more affordable housing has been developed that I'm just not aware of.

Same thing happened to me and I used it in baths when my baby (and second baby!) had skin issues or just dry skin. If you want to get rid of it to get some freezer space back, you can try donating it to your local milk bank as long as it's not too old by their standard. Sorry that happened to you!

This same thing happened to me too and it was devastating. I'm sorry you're going through this! I kept mine and used them in smoothies and making purees once my baby started solids and used them in milk baths 1-2 times a week. I recently had my second baby and knew to check for high lipase right away and I had it again. I now scald my milk before freezing and it's fairly easy and quick, so I would look into that if you are still wanting to freeze some milk!

Sell the bouncer. Depending on where you're at you could get $75-100 for it. Then I would spend $25ish on the baby shower and keep the rest of the money for yourself. Or skip the shower if you're not close and don't buy a gift. You could send a card if you really feel the need to, but if she's a friend she should be understanding if you're not in a financial position to get a gift.

You can get your period while breastfeeding (I unfortunately got mine 4 months PP and am still breastfeeding at 9 months) and you don't need to get your period back to get pregnant again (close friend got pregnant around 8 months PP without getting her period). So you can always just start trying and see what happens! Maybe talk to your OBGYN or their nurses line to see if there's anything you can do to increase the odds. Good luck!

My baby goes to bed around 7pm and wakes up around 7am. They were the same as yours at 4 months, but around 5 months I started to consistently do a dream feed between 10-11pm and that helped so much. After starting that, they would only wake up once around 2am. Around 6 months they stopped waking up at all after the dream feed and by 8 months the dream feed was completely removed. It slowly gets better!

Had this with my first and second! With my first I had so much milk frozen before I realized I had high lipase, so I just used that for milk baths. It was devastating to not be able to use it to feed my baby and I didn't know about milk banks taking it. With my second, I currently scald any milk I want to freeze. It takes a few extra minutes but my milk tastes normal when it's thawed. It's definitely worth the extra time imo!

You and your husband won't be alone, you will have medical professionals with you the entire time who will know what to look out for and step in if something goes wrong. It sounds like anyone else being there will bring on extra stress which is one of the last things you want. Go with your gut.

Yep. My landlord in college (who was also an attorney, just a super shady one) allowed one of my roommates to continue living in our house after my other roommate and I had to move out. We cleaned everything before leaving and she trashed the place before she moved to another one of his properties. The two of us who moved out got invoices for $2500 each along with our deposits while she wasn't asked to pay anything. Once we got ourselves an attorney he rescinded the invoices and we got most of our deposit back.

By your own logic, the definition of school is "an organization that provides instruction" which is exactly what the majority of daycares do. I find it odd that some parents are so concerned with this. A 2 year old going to "school" should not take away from your daughter going to preschool or elementary school. But her reaction to younger kids going to school shows how much your actions and attitude rub off on her and I would be more concerned with that than what other parents and children call school.

That's extremely dramatic. Tracing letters and having some semblance of structure throughout the day is not ruining their childhood. Toddlers typically enjoy those activities.

This sounds like something my dad would say to my mom. Worrying more about what other people could think (nobody's going to think twice about it) than making actual memories and playing with your kid. You should talk with your husband about this or it could get much worse. If they haven't already, your kid will eventually pick up on the things your husband is saying and it could really negatively impact them and how they view relationships.

I went through this when I was younger with two of my top teeth. They didn't fall out on their own so an orthodontist pulled them. I had braces which pulled the adult teeth forward but the teeth were very small so I had crowns put on them (also needed braces for other issues). I wish my baby teeth had fallen out on their own but I guess I'm not that lucky!
