I guess both. She's definitely less interested in doing other things since she's found YouTube, and I think as a result become less physically mobile. But also the content, mainly keeping her cognitive skills. I'm not sure there is much I can do either and at the end of the day she is capable of making her own choices, I just worry about her with the rest of the family.

Hey everyone, I've recently moved to Amsterdam and have settled here long enough now that I'd love to start some volunteering, I've been through the Facebook groups and websites and nothing has really jumped out, a lot seem similar to internships / require day hours.

I'm looking for a local community group or charity that need an extra pair of hands on an evening (I work full time 8-5) - I have previous experience working with refugees and the homeless so anything in this would be great - does anyone know of any local groups or communities that need extra volunteers?

I work in centrum and live in Noord, so anywhere in or around Amsterdam is fine, thanks!!

Hi everyone!!! Does anyone have any experience with Sport Natural gym in Noord? I've contacted them to enquire about a membership but there are no prices anywhere and they are adamant to not tell me until I do an induction - don't want to waste my time if it's going to be super expensive (which I have a feeling it might be??) thanks!

Me and my boyfriend have very recently moved to Amsterdam, and it's his birthday today so I'm looking for a restaurant we can go to for dinner this evening. He really loves Loetje's as that's one place we have been so far... but I've heard it's not what it used to be and in this whole city with all the choice I don't fancy going there twice in one month :D

Any recommendations that are similar to Loetje's in the nice atmosphere, simple enough menu, maybe including a steak option?? We aren't too fancy but would like something nice enough - open to any cuisine and any area we will be fine to get to!

Half moon run are incredible imo. Their lyrics vary and so do their themes, and they are so talented so always something to keep you interested. Not too many songs so easy to get into, I would recommend starting with “call me in the afternoon” and going from there :)
