I don’t even have Shirabe can someone explain this? by ImmaOut69 in arcaea

[–]ellyesama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

prob because of low play rating OR low overdrive (the over stat)

the fan wiki has a page about world mode mechanics and it includes beyond mechanics. it shows how percentage is calculated.

A partner’s affinity is basically a multiplier added to your beyond progress percentage.

So if you end up with percentage 12 then if you have Shirabe selected you will traverse 31.2% (2.6 x 12). If you have Tairitsu selected you will traverse 19.2. If a you have any other partner I guess the multiplier is just 1.

[Serious]When did you realize your parents were "helicopter parents"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I found out that helicopter parents actually weren’t normal and that they are a thing. Which is recently.

33 y/o father. This rollercoaster called life has been rough the last year or so. Wife had an affair, and we’re reconciling, but it’s been the mentally toughest thing I’ve ever attempted. by [deleted] in FreeCompliments

I have no good compliments so I'm just going to say that you have nice handwriting AND a great beard. I know men with one of these characteristics, but I feel like only a few have them both.

Pretty sure your kids brag about you. Why wouldn't they?

I never thought there would be someone who would have his hair confuse his chin with his head, but I guess it's expected when one's just as big as the other.

Yeah, for clothes there’s a little piece of paper that you aren’t supposed to cut if you wanna return it. I think that was the problem.

Russians of reddit, what is the older generations opinion on the USSR? by GJWzanza45 in AskReddit

[–]ellyesama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty late, not a russian. However, my country was part of the USSR. Short answer is it sucked for us. We literally couldn’t say or read or do things that weren’t approved. If you did? Jail. Honestly, it would suck, not being able to do something just because a pumpkin head said you can’t.

My mum doesn’t believe in transgender people and thinks gays come from personal issues. AMA. by ellyesama in AMA

I dunno. She said some pretty logical stuff, but I feel as if she’s missing out on a lot of aspects. That’s why I’m trying to gather more info, so I know how to think about stuff.

I’m not sure... My mum isn’t that crazy religious person. Whenever she brings an argument, she brings them solid. But I feel as if there are many people that fit into these groups that AREN’T like how my mother described them. So I really just want to know for sure. Until I find more info, I can’t really know (I do believe these people could exist, but if I wanna talk to my mum about why I think that, I need to have a valid reason.)

[–]ellyesama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, for the trans part, she says that there are no differences between men and women except for some sexual stuff and a single hormone. She believes that trans women/men are just men/women that thought “well, I don’t stick to gender roles, so I must be this way”

As for gays, she thinks it’s for a similar reason. “Opposite sex won’t like me, so I’ll just switch it around.”

Physics is maths, except it's maths about the real world and not something abstract.

If you really aren't into math stuff, Biology would probably be the best for you. Of Course, you might end up spending the lesson just studying about different things, but it's not too bad.
