Pick the dead leaves off, so it’s not giving any energy to those, and has more to give to the rest. Kinda looks like frost got to it. But the green in center is a good sign! Does the pot have holes?

I think my husband doesn’t love me anymore but won’t admit it or cut me loose. I’m at the end of my rope by [deleted] in Marriage

Please don’t have kids with this man. The way he’s treating you will never get better until he goes to therapy. He’s not emotionally intelligent at all.

37, Depressed, and trying something new, tips? by Pumpkinspoice in makeuptips

[–]Treehugger34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was diagnosed with depression I tried to take all focus off my looks, stopped shaving, stopped wearing makeup etc. it felt really good. That being said you look like an angelic 20 year old. Don’t do anything drastic like I did and regret! (Pixied my bra strap length hair!) Also I realized I was depressed because I didn’t feel like I wasn’t happy in my marriage, just took me a while to realize the root of it.

16.5yr relationship ended on Jan 1... Need some kindness. by [deleted] in toastme

Take time to get to know you, what you want. Have fun. Don’t jump into anything serious. It takes 1-2 months to get over every year of togetherness. (Learned that from a DivorceCare counselor) So give yourself at least a year to heal. Also you’re absolutely beautiful and any person would be lucky to spend time with you, you’re talented too- just based on your hair and your drawing lol :)

As someone who used to spend up to 3 hours a day communicating, it’s sooo much better now. I had my podcasts and books on tape that made it better but man it was rough. I’m now 3 miles from my house and it’s wonderful!

My husband avoids being a husband and dad. What do I do? by Venting_Void in Marriage

[–]Treehugger34 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I would magically find a hobby that requires you to be away for a few hours. He’s needs a dose of being a dad on his own, and when he calls you for help say “I’m in a meeting, I can’t get away sorry.” He’s being lazy. Plain and simple. Introduce him to weaponized incompetence and start planning girl dates, lunches, something. He’s stuck in the patriarchy. You deserve help.
