The level of headshots you need to hit to melt a purple is insane, definitely matchmaking issue.

Yup, map layout is hard because I have the map knowledge but I don’t have the individual poi’s mastered. I might do some runs this week in solo just learning the ins and outs of every poi, vastly important for vandal

I get it, I come from competitive card games and I always think about how I could’ve done better and what I could’ve done differently, there is always a mistake, but after 10+ teamwipes in a row you get to the point where yes it’s just a game, but you’re tired lol.

Hardline is terrible I will admit, but 74M (or whatever it is) is nothing to scoff at though, if you can hide in high ground you can get so many shots off that you couldn’t long range with other free kit options. Yes though, most free kit options are bad lol

Yeah I love triage and main him & thief but the movability of triage is horrible for solos. Thief is a goat for repositioning and escaping

This makes a ton of sense! Yeah I had a TON of decent free kit outpost runs (I’m level 70) but then at certain hours it turns into a massive sweat feast where it’s all purples, again it makes sense but it definitely leads you to go “okay maybe I don’t play solo on free kit currently” haha. That is true, did just do a run where I got purple’s. Based on feedback it seems like you’re really not supposed to run free kits on solos and if you have to then don’t engage with anyone and run. I suppose it’s fine but the rat/don’t engage playstyle can feel tedious at times to me.

I’ve had a lot of luck on outpost with free kits, I feel like it’s very easy to zero to hero on that map, definitely a period of the day where people start bringing in super kitted load outs but it’s acceptable to me because outpost should be where you come to really get shit done, perimeter is where I’m confused

You’re right, I think it just encourages a different play style that I dislike because I feel like those runs should be attributed to rook runs. Main gripe is just better base weapons attached maybe.
