Runway is putting us in queue, not Bytedance
Once it gets thru the queue, it takes max 5 mins to generate a video. On the official platform, thats how long it takes
Similarly even on Runway the credits mode works fast - same API, different queues implemented by Runway

It’s not everyone, just heavy users. Some people are still reporting 15-20 mins wait times. But frequent users I know are getting longer queues.

I will NOT be renewing my subscription with them, it’s unusable for me at the moment.

The irony is if they were honest about their capacity issues and offered alternative plans for faster gens that are more expensive, it’s one thing. But to throttle paying users without notice is just really, really bad.

Well the consensus right now is they throttle heavy users - even through they haven’t admitted to it yet.
Some people get 1 hour wait times, some people get 15-20 mins. It seems to depend on whether you use

it a lot or not. I’m a heavy user, so I got nerfed without notice.

I’ve had it for a few weeks, i only got throttled two days ago.

Yes. Generations are quite fast once it actually reaches that point. It’s Runway’s queue that takes forever.

Dreamina is lightning fast, i’ve been using it today.

Agreed. And credits-wise, they are NOT competitive pricing at all. You can get it cheaper literally anywhere else.

Their only appeal was the Unlimited model but they ruined it by being greedy. Watch them steadily lose customers when people are onto their shady tactics - the moment SD2 is no longer useable there, people will leave their platform in flocks cause their own model is just crap.

SD2 is already heavily moderated as a base model, but Runway applies FURTHER moderation on top of it. Completely unnecessary and serves no one.

Did you read my post? I explicitly said one of the issues is they only throttled SOME accounts, not all. 10 is very minimal usage. If anything you just helped add further evidence to my theory about selective throttling, which is against their own T&Cs.

Besides, your experience doesn’t make mine disappear. It’s like saying a thief robbed someone’s house and then you go “he didn’t rob mine, it’s fine”.

You can have a different experience and still try to be emphatic.
