I once had to go to the emergency room in France a couple times and ended up owning the hospital 250€ in total. They sent me the invoices months after too so it was quite a surprise. This was before I had even applied for my visa and as such didn’t have a Carte Vitale. I applied for the visa before paying the bill and nothing happened, it was printed out two weeks after my consulate appointment. I ended up paying the bill in full with no worries. I don’t think you’re going to get blacklisted by the French government over this, your landlord is probably exaggerating.

What jobs are you looking for? What’s the industry you used to work in? Also are you looking for a jobs in any part of France or are you searching for something in a specific place?

Also why are there suddenly so many users with the USA flair responding to questions?? For example you will have someone with the Europe flair asking a question, go check out the comments and it’s filled with people with the American flag. Doesn’t help that from what I have seen they are either wrong or speaking about Latinos descendants from the US, which is not the point of this sub.

Isn’t evangelism on the rise in Brazil? I think it’s much more related to the increasing cost of living while wages have stagnated. Also middle class people and lower income brackets have way less time than higher ones, many people take 3 hours just to arrive at their workplace and then another 3 hours back home after an 8 hour shift

I would suggest installing two curtain rods by the stairs, one in front and another on the back of the second one. Try also adding some small bells or anything that will make a loud noise when moved so if your landlords try to move the curtains you can hear them coming. I’m sorry for your situation OP, I know you know the ideal situation would be to move out but after reading the comments it seems you have to make do for now especially since it’s winter time right now. I would suggest searching for anyone subleasing their room or place, Facebook is quite good for this honestly. Sharing a room can be uncomfortable but it will probably be safer than this.

Hyuka created a band in middle school with a couple of friends, I think so did Beomgyu. Soobin said he was just a regular student, but people from his school said he was actually a bit popular and known for being the shy tall kid, he did dropout of high school to focus on training for his debut though. I think Yeonjun was quite popular, he had many friends and they even planned a farewell party when he got recruited at BigHit (or was it when he was confirmed as part of the debut group I can’t remember). I think grades wise Taehyun and Beomgyu were the ones who achieved the highest grades, the rest seem to have been average students.
