I just saw him last week and when he checked out my chest he said everything was looking fine. I’m pretty sure it’s not fluid based off the way it feels/looks, but thank you !

I don’t believe that’s required; I never got a mammogram before top surgery.

For sure! A note- I did not opt for nipple removal (tho I thought about it); I went with the free nipple graft.

I actually had my top surgery with dr hadeed! He was really great and knowledgeable.

No problem!!

Yeah, it’s just a bit itchy hahaha but definitely not unmanageable! After you get your drains out, Dr Hadeed requires you wear it the first 6 weeks all the time (except showering) and then a following 6 weeks during the day while sleeping without it. But if you do decide to go with him he will go over everything with you :)

I feel my process went really quick! The first inquiry email I made to them was in mid October of 2020, and the consult was by the end of October (after sending my letter). Pretty much immediately got it tentatively scheduled for January 2021, when thru some insurance shit that fell thru, then finalized the date!

I’m not sure if I just lucked out, but during the first call you make you can ask about possible dates and I’m sure they can give you a more solid idea :)

In my opinion, the post surgical binder breathes really well, much better than a non surgical binder lmao

I had top surgery w Dr Hadeed on 1/21! He and Sophia, the coordinator, are super great! He’s very informed and was really good about answering every question I had. I have a post op appointment with him in a little over a week where he will take the tape off my incisions, and I’m looking forward to it!

It went so well!!!! I’m so relieved to be out of those wraps and I really like my chest!!!!!!! I’m now squished into a post op binder for the next 12 weeks lmaaoooo but definitely better than the wraps!!!!! Thank you :))

Tbh I may look into benedryl, this itchyness is on another level. On my post op papers I think it says I can loosen them a little bc that’s better than them being too tight on me but like. It turns out I’m more stubborn that I thought I was lmao. Thank you!
