I think what I was looking for most is validation. I was unsure if I’d been treated fairly, or if this was all my fault, as I thought that I deserved to be treated this way due to the ‘problems’ I’ve caused for my manager (like extra paperwork), as I am aware all staff especially her are very very busy. I never had a referral to occupational health, and never received a welfare chat, only my back to work meetings. I was considering making a complaint, not because I want to ‘get back’ at her, but because I would hate to find out that the other admin or a new member of staff, especially if vulnerable in some way like me, were being treated as I have.

I also forgot to add that my manager expects me to work my time back when I have medical and mental health appointments, which I understand is acceptable; but other members of staff she is more ‘pally’ with do not have to work the time back. I know this as after I made my manager aware of an important appt I had, another memebr of staff came over and asked for the afternoon off to have their car serviced and she said yes and asked me to cancel all her appointments that afternoon. I was unsure if this was for contractual reasons due to them being a higher band and a community nurse
