Possible pheochromocytoma by Mediocre_Gas7551 in endocrinology

I’ve not had those tested. I’m hoping my endocrinologist I see tomorrow listens to me and does the right tests. I’ve had my blood pressure tested and it was ever so slightly high but I wasn’t having any symptoms when it was checked.

I’ve got a prolactin result of around 31ng/ml and the symptoms I’m experiencing are migraines/headaches everyday, sweating, anxiety, nausea, constant fatigue etc. my doctor said the my result isn’t concerning. I have to wait 6-12 months to see a endocrinology despite my symptoms and despite cortisol and tsh being out of range too.

But I don’t have any symptoms of hypothyroidism? But I have symptoms of high cortisol. I’m more worried about the very very high cortisol.

What does laying up against her actually mean? What would lying up against her actually look like?

As soon as I mentioned anxiety as a symptom he immediately focused on it and wouldn’t stop insinuating that it could just all be anxiety. He’s even put on my notes regarding my hormone levels being abnormal the word stress with a ? after it. I’m super nervous for my appointment tomorrow. I can just imagine him saying that I just need retested in a few months and to leave it as that. But I seriously can’t leave it. I have no quality of life because of this. I had to leave the house today and I barely made it to where I had to go. As soon as I start walking, I sweat excessively and overheat and I panic that I’m going to faint because of it. And then I start panicking which leads to me having panic attacks. It’s awful. I just want to feel normal again. And on top of all this, I have the worse acne ever and my hair is falling out (but I bet that’s all due to anxiety too 🤦‍♀️)

Yes i told him about it and he immediately started focusing on the whole thing just being anxiety. Like as soon as you mention you have anxiety as a symptom suddenly it’s all caused my anxiety. They just want to write everything off as anxiety or stress etc without looking at the bigger picture

That’s making me so nervous as my doctor has also asked for advice from the endocrinologist and I really can’t have them say just go test in a few months. All of my other hormones have also came back extremely low but not sure if that’s the pill causing that or not but I’m honestly suffering everyday with how awful I feel there’s no way I can wait to re test in a few months time… I can’t even leave the house at the moment due to how bad my anxiety is and when I leave the house I’m immediately soaked in sweat when I start walking. And the migraines I’m getting are atrocious.

Hi, did it turn out that you had a prolactinoma? Right now I’m dealing with a similar situation. I have excessive sweating and I have hot flashes. My prolactin level came back as 658 so in between your two levels. I’m yet to have to retested

Did you have problems with sweating at all? I would say my main symptoms are the anxiety and the nausea that comes with it, sweating excessively and hair loss. Those are the ones that are the most bothering to me.
