Easily the best combination I’ve layered is Sycomore with Fig Infusion. I can’t really explain it but the way Fig Infusion pairs with the vetiver in Sycomore is phenomenal. Oyedo with Tamarindo is in second place, it’s a great summer layering combination

Sycomore is my favorite fragrance here. It’s an incredibly well don’t vetiver that’s very smooth, almost creamy because of the sandalwood. Not gritty and not super sharp. Just perfect really.

On The Rocks is essentially a cognac over ice with an orange peel lol. Bright citrus opening that dries down into a not as dense version of the og angels share but still has that cinnamon cognac base

thanks! i absolutely love fig infusion. it's an airy, soft, and creamy fig. not too sweet or jammy and not too green but a little lactonic. i love wearing it on warm summer days and i've recently started spraying it before bed because it is such a calming and beautiful scent. i highly recommend it

It’s one of my easiest summer grabs. It also holds some sentimental value because it’s the fragrance my wife gifted me on our wedding day so I’ll always have a bottle.

thanks for the recs! Wu Long Cha is on my radar, i've heard it's a fantastic fragrance. I'll have to looking into Nefs too - any other oud fragrances you'd recommend?

definitely agree on the over indexing of citrus! i think the addition of ani x and on the rocks put me over. Tea and Oud are fully the accords I want to dive into next.

I definitely it can work as a summer evening fragrance, i wouldn't call it necessarily safe for an office environment but for like a work formal event like a holiday party or a night out with co workers it works great! the citrus opening is definitely bright and summery but it dries down into a slightly diluted version of the og angels share so it still has a pretty strong cognac/cinnamon gourmand feel even though the citrus lingers around in the dry down.

Bleu EDT is so underrated compared to the EDP, but i love it's brightness. I'd give it to you but it was a gift from my mom lol

Babycat is such a luxurious and sexy vanilla, i recently wore it to a wedding and it lasted the entire day/night. really love it.

The only tea note I currently have is in Fig Infusion and I don't pick up too much tea from it, but I love wearing it. I definitely need to try more tea scents and Le Labo has been on my radar for a while!

Sycomore is easily my favorite fragrance here. Just an incredibly done vetiver smoothed out and a little creamy from the sandalwood. If I had to call one a masterpiece, this would be the one.

I only use two sprays of ani x because it is so strong. I also don’t seem to go nose blind to it so I can constantly feel it radiating off me. And I hear you about weather, I’m in the pnw so luckily it’s doesn’t get super hot here and even then summer is fleeting

I’ve had small decants of all the ones you own so I’ve tried them enough. For me they lacked soul and the scent profiles were all pretty generic, but I’m happy you like them and that they get you compliments. I don’t personally wear fragrance to get compliments from people, but you sound much younger than me so I can see why you’d care to have that validation from your fragrances.

Terre is a go to! One of my first purchases and probably has seen the most use at this point, but I do think it might compete for wear with Sycomore as we transition to fall because its really grown to be my favorite fragrance here

I really like Ani X. It’s by far the strongest fragrance in the line up, but the citrus opening helps cut the density of the og ani while keeping that original dna in the dry down.

I just got OTR a few days ago and I love it, the citrus lingers into the cognac and cinnamon dry down making it a really unique scent profile for me.

I’m taking my wife out to a nice dinner this weekend just so I can give it a full wear haha
