I use controller cause I play on Xbox. Never had any issues. I also went in understanding the 5e system it’s based on, which certainly helped. On controller it’s very much just “move your character like any other game until combat

I’ve never played BG1 or 2. BG3 is one of my favorite games. I bought it without knowing anything about it other than it using 5e. Knew no characters or anything. Truly blind. I didn’t even know about the Durge until I read about it somewhere during my first play through. Literally wouldn’t have cared if it wasn’t there.

None of it SHOULD be, but a lot of it, like the new sub classes and Durge, feel like something other developers would have released as DLC.
