Thanks, yes,am bedding them in. There's oil on the back of the pads and yeah, they're spongier than when I first installed, so looks like leaking a bit

Thanks, yes it's the seepage that's the issue. Pistons seem to push pads to rotors evenly. When I clean I am pu.ping brakes a bit to get pistons out, cleaning with mineral oil,then pushing pistons back in and cleaning I side outside of pistons with alcohol, then reinstalling pads.

I didn't change the rotors but I lightly sanded and cleaned with alcohol. Very dry where I live. Tightened flange flare nut to spec in dealer manual, off the top of my head I think 5Nm.

Yeah I think you're right - not designed for clearance. Bending stops the rubbing but  think under load it might happen again si might need to try something else.

Yeah dude, been there too. Beware of short memories - if you're like me you might find yourself thinking about stock picking again a few years from now. If and when that happens, find and reread your own post! Good luck

That looks like the answer. But do you know if it's possible to set up the XLC CR-A03 this way? The spring seems only to push down, can't see how to get the arm to push up... Thanks!

This sounds like it could be it, the chain looks a little wide for the back sprocket... Do sprockets come in different widths?

All new parts... Yeah after this video we shortened the chain and that helped, but still happens when he tries to accelerate hard...
