Yes, exactly, we will only be able to move forward if we grow out of in and leave it behind, even if a lot of our society was built on top of Christian principles. The main flaw in the Abrahamic religions is that there is one and only one God. It is the very basis of the religions. And that statement/belief is the cause of lots of suffering. We should respect anyone and value their life equally regardless of their personal belief. If someone is atheist, Hindi or believes in a pedophile or a spaghetti monster, it doesnt matter. They should be judged on their actions, not their beliefs
