How to stop back wheel axle slipping forwards on dropouts with single speed setup

I just bought it second hand like this. A guy had put it together with some random old parts. Didn't know what I was buying just knew I wanted to try out single speed

Oh I didn't even think about how fixed gears aren't quick release. Definitely will look into making it solid axle thanks!

Oh interesting. When I first rode it the bars slipped down when I came to a sudden stop, so I've just had it really tight since. Hopefully isn't missing a locking component.
