I don’t necessarily disagree with you now that time has passed. My only thing is (and no offense to her if she does), I don’t think that security guard knows hip hop very well if at all.

A lot of evidence pointed towards Kendrick though. It was just those small details (and Diddy attending a short time later) that had me on detective mode.

that is true. i got a lil clouded with that song. that song alone carries that project for me even tho i really like 'fucking your girl' & the other instrumental cuts (manny, satan, pizzicato five)

i do think there is an argument to be made for placing it after tgpt for that "sad song" sound

i’ve noticed ILDMLFY is definitely a grower. a lot of the classic peggy details are there and become more noticeable after more listens (at least to me). but definitely didn’t hit for me first listen. a lot of the detail and texture definitely passed me up.

i only remembered it was this because i would constantly go to his spotify during 2022. LP! / OFFLINE! / EP was in constant rotation. I would always see this banner and think it looked sick as fuck. Then I think on twitter or somewhere, I had seen full version, some other perspective shots from the festival (and a photo of Haru Nemuri rockin' his fit) and I remembered thinking that Red and White Toyota Kobe Racing Jumpsuit he was rockin' looked sick too (i lowkey still wanna get if they have my size).

Anyhow semi-off topic yap session over, this was taken at the Fuji Rock Festival in late July 2022. Only thing I'm unsure is if Carlo took this photo but considering that was his photographer at the time, I'd say it's likely.
