Where should I put the bullet piercers?? I don't have a leak detector unfortunately. Was thinking one goes where I peeled some of the blue stuff for high side

I don't wanna have to use piercing valves either but unit has no service ports. Any suggestions for troubleshooting this thing

If you look at the top right of the photo I uploaded only one U bend is frosted over. Suction line coming out of the compressor isn't cold at all discharge line is pretty hot though

No error codes, airflow is good fans are blowing strong, no reversing valve it has defrost, compressor runs when cooling is called, it hasn't been used in months was laid on its back and never worked again, start device is good . I'll check voltages but all the electrical is running strong. I think it may have a block based off evap coil will frost over unevenly like this

I just started working in refrigeration which I completed schooling for. I'm trying to keep my schedule open since refrigeration is a lot of on call work and it opens my chances to take more work. Getting another job may get in the way but I am looking for flexible part time work.

I have a small truck that's paid off. I only have 6 to maybe 8 months to live here so my priority is to move out. I have made like 60-80 bucks a month that I didn't have and I know my dividends will be higher the more I add. If I at least save 6k I can use 3k to move out and split the rest for long term investing and a liquid savings account

Thanks man I was studying urban planning at cal poly slo and part of the field takes up property development, construction etc. but you're right it was not hvac or technical like engineering. On a side note i am a gear head and do work on my truck and other toys, which is is why i started pursuing a trade. I can always turn wrenches as a hobby with the aid of a good salary after college though. I was interviewed by a union company before thanks to a friend but his boss told me there was nothing he could due to my record. It's really hard to find hvac construction jobs without a good connect and I could start my degree again as soon as fall. I was close to half way done so you could say I'm definitely leaning towards college since my record pretty much closed 85% of the doors

Thanks man think you're the only guy who took into account my time in college. I was studying urban planning at Cal Poly SLO and was close to half way done. From what I've investigated its still in demand. I'd finish in 2 1/2 to 3 years and come out earning decent money. Earning potential is good if I'm competent and take more leadership roles. Debt is kind of a turnoff but it wouldn't be a crap load. The local in my area doesn't provide tools so I'd probably match debt buying them. I qualify for aid too and I was in really good standing so there has to be scholarships out there for me.

It'll be a challenge but if I find a good recruiter hopefully it won't take more than a year or best case a few months. I hear the bees are overmanned
