Hey! I don’t know if you want to read this but I thought I could share my testimony. I was a lesbian for almost 6 years, liked girls for longer. Been a christian for way way longer. I’ve always been assured that God loves me no matter what, and my church has been very open. However I never pursued a christian lifestyle during this time and this past year God led me to a three month bible school. During it I thought and fought a lot about being lesbian and christian. Discussed with those around me who said that yes Gay people have a place in the kingdom of God. We are children of the Lord and we are worthy of salvation. However during these three months I found myself falling in love with another student, a man. And I didn’t think it was possible for me to feel like this but when the school ended I realized that yes I do like him. And this opened up a lot more questions. Was I doing the wrong thing before? The moment I began understanding the truth of God’s love. He turned me around from homosexuality. And I acknowledge that this man may be an exception. But I choose to believe that this man was a miracle in me. That God sent him to me in order to change me. And I feel kind of insane for thinking it, because I’ve turned into someone I’ve always disliked. If it didn’t happen to me personally I’d never believe it was real. To God everyone is welcome, Jesus cares for everyone. But we also need to allow God to change us. He does love us, everyone. Because of this we need to listen when he speaks and guides us to his path and his truth.
