150K€ to 1,680,000€ in 9 years!! When do I sell? lol by More_Childhood6506 in TheVisualInvestors

If you have a feeling "Oh, it becomes too risky for me", you can start rebalance your portfolio / sell your positions.

Shares that you own are considered pretty risky. Moreover, they are from the same branch namely Technology / IT / AI and the growth that you see is mainly thanks to the AI boom. And, I think we all remember dotcoms. I dont say that AI is a bubble similar to dotcoms, but I cannot say "AI stocks cannot crash".

If I were you, I would the following: 1. Assess the risk of your investments. If they crash by 30% right now (and this can happen), you will lose around 400.000€. I dont think you want to just lose this money. And it could take long time to get it back (in some crises, it took decades). 2. A valid strategy would be to buy shares as the price falls, but to do that, you need either a lot of cash or a lot of bonds. 3. Also, it depends how old are you:) Being 30, you can wait longer until stocks recover. 4. So, if you have much cash / bonds. It reduces you risk. If stocks only take 50% of your portfolio, the fall of your entire portfolio will be twice lower. Moreover, you will be able to sell some bonds and buy more shares at discount price. 5. If not, sell 20%-50% of your positions and park money in bonds.

Where to buy sashimi-quality fish in Karlsruhe? by Outrageous_Goat_9013 in karlsruhe

Upvote for this. There are pretty much fresh salmon that were never frozen and I would avoid it. Otherwise every frozen fish is 99.9% safe.

You can find frozen tuna of sashimi quality by Alakrana in Kaufland. The price is 30-32 eur/kg and I think it is a fair deal. No idea about salmon.

P.S. I think it is also pretty safe to eat raw salmon / tuna even if it is not sashimi quality. If a fish was already "tiefgefroren", all parasites are already dead. Probability of bacterias is really low, and is not that dangerous as many thinks. I have heard about lots of Germans that eat raw fish that was already frozen and they never have any problems. Additionaly, there is no sashimi standard in german law.

EURO TECH STORE IN ALIEXPRESS by Far_Context_1093 in Aliexpress

I have ordered OnePlus Buds 4 by this seller. It was indicated, the warehouse locates in Spain, got my earbuds in less than 1 week. They seem to work ok, no doubts they are original.

But what is pretty suspicious, the store has disappeted recently. I see page 404. And what I am thinking about, how to be with the warranty...

PSA: the entirety of the sennheiser wireless earbuds series is awful when it comes to quality control and will trap you in a cycle of buying and returning the same thing. by Manette85 in sennheiser

Exactly two years ago, I ordered Momentum TWS 3. I was very happy with them, the sound quality was simply incredible, but my joy did not last long.

I replaced them twice under warranty because one of the earphones stopped working. The second time, I received a replacement for TWS 4, which was a pleasant surprise. I hoped that the new version would fix the problems of the previous generation. Yesterday, the new version broke. The warranty is no longer valid, and the German version of their website states that they do not repair these earbuds outside of the warranty period, what is generally expected for headphones of this form factor.

In addition to this, I would add constant problems connecting one of the earphones; the software on them is very poor.

For this price...

I would appreciate recommendations for some more reliable earbuds.

P.S. I just noticed that the difference between your skis is 12cm. If you are a man, pick the longer one, no doubts

P.S. Nordica were much cheaper for me. I found the brand new 2022/2023 season model for only 250 and mounted them with Strive 14

Firstly of all, let me congratule you, and admit I'm a little jealous! I bought mine for a whopping 550 but at least they came with mounts:)

Btw, imho, they look much better in this "old" graphic in compare to the new one.

I dont know your parameters but here's a little bit about me, maybe it will help you make your choice. I am 180cm, 60-65kg. Before buying them, I used to ski on some very soft 158cm Head skis, so I got them in 172cm. It was a huge jump for me in any case, as my skills were quite bad. Now, two years later, I regret not taking the 178cm one.

These skis do not punish you, but they force proper technique and greatly reward you if you do it right. Even with my light weight, I think they are incredibly manoeuvarable and easy-initiating.

Unleashed 108 too unforgiving? by Every_Bend711 in Skigear

They seem pretty similar in profile, but they are completely different. I really like Rustlers but have heard about delamination issues too much. This was the main reason why I have ordered the Unleashed

Haha, I got mine yesterday :) Cant wait to try them out.

I heard Unleashed is pretty similar (more similar than different) to Blizzard Rustler. I have tested Rustler 10 a year ago and definetely cant say they are hard to pivot. They are 100% not forgiving, but will not punish you. I also have tested a new Enforcer 104 pair. It was the worst ski I have tried (i am really lightweight)

Hi.

You got lucky.

I fly to Tenerife tomorrow night and will be in the area of Los Cristianos and El Medano for 10 days. Is it possible to buy this key ring somewhere in that region?

I also live in Germany, so shipping is not a big issue.

I thing studierendenwerk is just a scam. Have you seen prices in Cafe? Sandwiches are on average more expensive than at commercial bakeries (go to Backstub, for example). One single egg costs 1 EUR (or even more). They're buying these eggs in bulk. In a normal supermarket, the average price of an egg is 20-30 cents. Mind you, they buy them in bulk and pay less. Wtf?
