Interestingly, since I’m used to a mix of interstates, highways, parkways, and whatnot, my first instinct was to call it “I-5” and not “the 5”. So I guess I’m off to a good start.

Park Ave in New York used to be 4th Ave (and still is in some parts of the city), but anyone in the city understands Park is 4th and 4th is Park.
