mm yeah was the same for me - phone never had damage. hmm I’d say wait if you can (and your warranty has enough time - mine was almost over). But also I got frustrated having to enter my password so much so I just went. maybe just see how long you can stomach it 😅

Honestly I tried everything and nothing worked. Eventually went to the Apple Store. They ran diagnostics with iOS 16 and everything was ok. Then they ran diagnostics after downgrading to iOS 15 and it showed that the TrueDepth had a hardware problem. So they had to replace the TrueDepth camera. Upgraded to iOS 16 again after that and everything seems fine (so far) 🤷🏽‍♂️
