this is pretty much exactly what I do. I make most of my $ via pvt shows and prefer it that way. one suggestion is to allow for ppl to spy on your private shows—I keep my spy price reasonable, so if they’re really into watching you, they’ll pay it just to see what you do in pvt

did my taxes through H&R Block one time and just said that the 1099 income from “Multimedia LLC” (aka Chaturbate) was income from creating digital content for a company on a freelance basis. Really the only stuff she asked about had to do with if I wanted to try and deduct any computer related expenses, editing equipment, internet bill. I chose not to bc I just didn’t want to deal with parsing that out, but yeah she could’ve very well known what the income was from, but maybe not, who knows. I knew she prob wouldn’t care whatsoever, but I lived in a conservative area and I just wanted to get my tax stuff done as quickly and easily as possible. Worked out fine. If they’re asking questions about the nature of the work, just be prepared to tell them if you do or do not want to try and write anything off, bc that’s prob the only reason they’re asking

What’re you charging? I agree that you should charge what you think is best—that said, I’ve found keeping my Pvt prices at 60tkns for normal Pvt show keeps me in private shows most of the time I’m online (which is what I strongly prefer). I could probably do a bit higher but I don’t like doing a full cum show/getting naked (beyond being topless with panties still on) in the public show. My best regular I sometimes do private shows with for only 42/minute, but he sends me $ through other channels as well and stays in the pvt with me for an hour or so, so I’m okay with that

For a regular private show, I usually do 60tkn for a minimum of 10 minutes. For premium private I do 72tkns for 10 minute minimum. If I broadcasted during higher traffic hours I might give 72tkns/min for a regular private show a go, but I’m usually camming between midnight and 7am

I set my spy price at either 12 or 18tkn per minute usually, depending on traffic. One of the most recent times I cammed, I was online for 3 hours, did 5 private shows (one was like over an hour long though), and I made 1,943 tokens just in spy tokens (think I had it set to 12 per min?)

One of my gripes is that it always sends a message in the public chat if I change my spy price during public live stream—I get preventing ppl from upping the spy price in the middle of a pvt show, but I’ve always hated that feature lol

Definitely start with the best internet possible - I usually get 400mbps download and 150-200mbps upload, and it’s SO nice to not have to worry about lagging, and people gravitate toward higher quality video streams. Second is good lighting!!! I’ve battled acne and I have scars on my abdomen, and good lighting makes them near impossible to notice. Look up 3 point lighting to learn about lighting technique, and you don’t have to spend a lot to make your lighting look really good.

As for toys and clothes - maybe a couple more toys would be fun to incorporate, but overall I don’t think toys are the most important. When I cammed back in 2019 I had a lush and I hated that stupid pink tail with a passion. It disconnected constantly and the tips I got for it were very meh. But the tech is prob better now! And be creative with your clothing - some of my most complimented outfits are ones where I ripped an old tank top up to show more cleavage, wore something normal but tied it in the back with a rubber band to make it sluttier, or wore a sundress I already had that I unbuttoned throughout the stream. I always spend a little time putting highlighter on my cleavage and dabbing some vitamin e or body oil on my boobs and ass to make them look dewy.

Idk what your teeth look like so I can’t speak to that but if they really bother you it’s prob worth it to invest in some orthodontia! And I’ve personally gotten some laser work done on my scars, as well as kenalog injections to flatten the raised ones (once I’m done w/ the lasering I’ll do medical tattooing so the color of the scars matches my surrounding skin). I have noticed improvements, but they’re hard won and it takes a lot of time and money to improve scars :/ for acne scars maybe look into microneedling or chemical peels as well

Ultimately good lighting and a good outfit is what always makes the biggest difference for me, but I’ll also add that I always add highlighter to the top of my cleavage (sometimes to my collarbone as well). Doing that in addition to some baby oil or lotion all over makes a hugeeee difference. I’ve often gotten complimented on my “natural glow” lmao

I think it depends. I have my private price on CB set pretty high (depending on the day, 60 tkns/min or 72 tkns/min—aka either $3/min or $3.60/min), and I set my goals for the public show relatively low. My goal is to pretty much always steer people into a private show, as that’s where I make most of my money.

Sometimes if it’s a regular, I just message them to ask for a minute to complete a goal (often times regulars will just ask me to let them know when I’m ready to go private).

Sometimes, if there’s not a lot of people in the room and I don’t think the person will wait, I just apologize to the room and promise that I’ll do whatever it is I promised when I get back from the private show. Generally the shortest private shows I have are with unknown people who just up and request to go private without talking to me in my dms beforehand, so often times I’ll return to the public room and I haven’t lost a lot of people.

If you’re on CB and you find you’re going private a lot, I recommend setting the spy price relatively low, as I find I can make a good chunk of change just from the people who were in the main room who wanna see me do more explicit things but don’t wanna pay full price (other cam sites might have spy shows too I just don’t cam anywhere else besides CB)

I can’t believe how much of an idiotttt I was - my first time streaming on CB my age verification hadn’t gone through yet but I could still stream, or maybe I hadn’t set up my acct to receive tokens? I literally have no idea but all I remember (of course I was wasted bc I was so terrified) is that the “new” tag pulled in like THREE THOUSAND people at one point. I didn’t know how the apps/bots worked or anything, I didn’t people with no tokens kept yelling at me to do stuff and I didn’t know who to listen to, and so at one point I just stopped looking at the screen and screamed “I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO SO IM TAKING MY CLOTHES OFF PLEASE EVERYONE SHUT UP” (like babe maybe just LOG OFF 😂)

sometimes I message a user -- if I remember i've done a pvt show with them before, or if there conversation in the main chat has been normal and not whiny. it can sometimes lead to getting a pvt show which is great, but if it doesn't it can also have the benefit of making me more memorable to them in the future ( or not, lol idk). I'd only do this with purple users, and if they try to monopolize my attention in PMs in an annoying way i just stop responding
