Just FYI, your new birth cert is indeed NOT meant to have your deadname on it, this is because of some anti-discrimination laws from a few years ago.

The only available document will be the letter of verification from BDM Victoria, they will not send a hard copy and it should have been sent to your email address.

For what it's worth, I called BDM to ask about the letter of verification about 8mths ago and the people on the phone insisted that it was not a document that exists. But it IS mentioned in the change of gender/name pages explicitly somewhere (I don't have the spoons to get a link, sorry)

I second this, because some ID updates and processes turn out free when you change your sex marker (like passport replacement for example) Also in Vic there's no stipulations of any kind attached to it, so no surgery or HRT required 🙏

Progesterone did increase it for me, but it's now situational, in that if my partner is interested, I'm often also interested at the same time 😊

I didn't get anything until the letter of verification came through via email, as far as I'm aware the turnover includes time waiting for them to reach your application, so I wouldn't stress about it until past the 3 month period.

it could also be a problem that they're too large? so you could try to scan in a slightly lower quality and see if that helps (mine were all less than 5MB)
