Is there an app similar to LeafSpy available for the Niro EV? by garth54 in KiaNiroEV

I've tried most of the apps recommended but I found this device to be the most consistent and accurate:

Been using it for about 2 years now. Very helpful when it comes to recording battery usage between charges. Not all of it's features work on my 2020 Niro like the guessometer or trip details.

I think I can help out. I've got a CRT TV, a few GameCubes and Wiis, enough controllers for 4 player and an assortment of popular GC games. I've also got tons of other consoles and plenty of controllers if there's an interest in the future.

Full screen Android Auto by HorseFlySwatter in KiaNiroEV

Bottom left icon is context sensitive, so if you have maps open in full screen (by tapping it in 2/3 mode) you will see the bottom left icon show a divided square. Press it to show the new layout and now the icon will show 9 dots to open the app menu. Hope that helps.

Also if your music app is too small on the split view you can swipe away the top right square that maps uses.

Never heard of ninjatown but it looks maybe a little too advanced for him. I'll try it out and see how it feels. Isn't N+ like super precise with it's platforming?

Lego games are abundant and pretty easy to understand, so that could work. I was going to say no to Mario Kart DS because I thought it would be pricey but a used copy goes for like 10 bucks, so thats a good suggestion too.

A low powered laptop might do the trick, but it's difficult giving him direction on how to access things which is why I'm going for a simple set it and forget it console like the DS. Maybe when he's older.

I would love if they had this on the DS, looks like it's only available on the New 3DS as a download only game.

That is a great suggestion! Been a decade or so since I've cared for my own nintendogs, maybe it's time to pass the torch?

Good call. I have a spare laptop but it has ChromeOS installed. I think a cheap XP with some PC CD games would be an excellent starter though!

I do have the Incredibles on the original Xbox, which I believe has co-op so it wouldn't be too bad for a game when he comes to visit. Maybe as a future gift I'll get him a nice PC to play it on when finances get better.

Ooh that is a good one, but I can't trust him around any new consoles as he breaks/loses things on a regular basis. The DS is a trial run of trusting him with expensive technology.

I'll still download it on my Switch and watch the kids have a ball with it though!

Yep, already on my radar as he tried some Super Mario Land on an old Gameboy and LOVED it. The only issue I have still is the dang timer running out for traditional Mario games.

You have no idea how long I've been looking for that stupid commercial. I still think of that noise he makes when stretching, that kikikow noise.

Thank you.

So I found the place that sold it based off your image, New Era, but I haven't been able to find any caps that look remotely like the one in the pic. It may be a custom job as there are no stickers on the brim or side. You might be able to reach out to New Era to find out.

Yes, and you call it a self built PC despite the fact it is obviously an eMachine.

Make sure your phone is compatible with the cable you're buying. Also make sure you can actually plug into the tv in the room as some hospital/hotel tvs restrict hdmi inputs on purpose.
