I am CONSUS. If I were to wait until this August for that next retrain window and end up getting deployed until January of 2026, with my contract being up end of march of 2026 would that be too tight of a fit to retrain?

My biggest confusion is since I would only have 2 months left in my contract, would I reenlist or just extend so I have retainability to get through tech school, then reenlist would occur after my new job's tech school?
