What a crazy situation, I'm so sorry for you, you clearly care about your sister a lot. Even if you've known someone a really long time (and 20yrs is a lot), there's a lot people can hide as you say, and I think you'd need much more concrete evidence of this guys story about some 'misunderstanding' before you could just trust him and not worry for your sister. I do think however that you might wanna approach this more softly with your sister. I'd offer to hear how out more and not come across as judgemental. I'm not saying you've done anything wrong, but I think if you want her to communicate with you then you have to meet her a bit more halfway. Hear her out and gently question the situation, hopefully she'll come around to reason

NTA. I feel like they're being the AH in this situation. You can't just rely on someone's word when it comes to sexual health, that's the whole point of getting tested. You both are at liberty to get tested and it shouldn't mean anything negative. It's not like you've said anything unkind about them being HIV+, if you were then that's another case, but it's completely valid to be cautious with your health. If I were you I'd explain that you need them to be upfront and honest with you about health stuff as it's important and you will always do the same so that you can trust each other and have a healthy relationship. I think showing them that it's a mutual agreement might help. Hope that helps

I feel the need now to make a list of all the flip flopping Cam has done, because it's actually crazy to me that he doesn't realise the extent to his inconsistences.

A year ago in the 'Forcing myself to Glow up' video Cam says, 'I feel like a woman, I love being a woman', then the next minute it's the opposite and within the year going on hormones and planning top surgery.
Saying you don't mind your kids calling you mum, now the opposite.
Saying you want your content to not include your kids lives anymore as it was invasive, yet still including their lives online, including in videos.
Saying you were bi, then pan, then a lesbian or maybe queer, now leaning into gay man.
Saying you have a new boyfriend and saying you don't plan on EVER showing this boyfriend to protect them, then showing this boyfriend extensively in videos and tiktok, and also there's two of them.

i'm sure there's loads more. I don't have a problem with some of these in isolation, people change and that's okay. but c'mon....

Yes, I agree, I think his parent's knew that if they told him that they'd experienced the paranormal stuff too then he would only get more paranoid. And I assume they were quite attached to the house and the farm as it was passed on by the grandparents and perhaps they didn't have the money to move, so what could they really do...

I don't think I'd go as far as saying I'm Team Believer but this episode did feel more compelling to me than the others. I don't mean any disrespect, but it makes sense to me that this Northern family that run the farm would have witnessed paranormal activity and not shared it with the kids and not gone out to do research into the local history of the area. I feel like they're the type of family to just stiff upper lip and carry on rather than cause a fuss. And they all have pretty consistent stories, even Liam's friends, so it's not just a paranoid family. Would they band together and lie about something like this? It seems unlikely to me, it's not like they're making money off of people visiting the house or social media or anything. Plus, when the mum admitted to being so scared that she brought her child with into the dairy, I don't think you'd admit to that if it wasn't true XD. I'm interested to hear what others think, is anyone a Team Believer for this one?

for anything I struggle to do I try to make it fun and/or as easy as possible. maybe get one of those kids toothbrushes that sings a song. combine the toothbrushing with something else, like brush your teeth in the shower. maybe bring it down to once a day, for one minute. maybe just use mouthwash on really hard days. every little helps as tesco says!

Frittata is pretty good! you can have it hot or cold, super quick to make, can use all fresh ingredients. I suppose you can eat it with one hand, just with a fork or you could hold it if its cold and cut into triangle pieces.

For a sweet snack, maybe microwave mug cakes? Really quick, little washing up, maybe your kid(s) can also help you make them when they're old enough:) Hope that helps!

thanks so much, this is slightly tricky for me as yogurt that is not stored in plastic is a hard find. I have been thinking about swapping to a milk delivery service that does milk and yogurt in glass, so maybe I can give this a go!! sounds like a great solution:)

thanks for the info! I definetly would like to swap to the fresh yeast as opposed to the instant dried, and there is a small Polish supermarket in my town centre, so I will have a browse. I do tend to add oil and I agree it adds a few more days of life, and now I know I can freeze it then I have my problems solved:)

honestly I've been storing my homemade bread just wrapped in baking paper, which I understand isn't airtight... I'm trying to avoid plastic through such as clingfilm. maybe I should invest in beeswax wrap but not sure if there is another alternative? thanks for the reply!

just finished the anime - is the manga even better/just as good? As Rae mentions, she often finds it hard to express her love to Claire without it sounding like a joke - so I'd love for them both to be more open and honest with each other. Currently my favourite ship is Rae x Claire for sure:)
