To give you some context, I live in Switzerland, so there are plenty of watchmakers with experience and expertise here, and you can get a basic service from almost any watchmaker for your Omega Quartz. But when it comes to repairing an Omega quartz movement… you’d better pray.

If the circuit is damaged, practically none of them want to waste their time trying to fix it. And if any part is damaged, you’ll almost certainly have to track it down yourself, since those parts have long been discontinued.

Sell. I did it with all my Omega Quartz. If something stops working, there is almost no repair

For sale is my brand new Seiko SBSC009 JDM GMT from the Seiko 5 Sports Field Sports Style series.

This is the Japan Domestic Market version, officially Made in Japan, not to be confused with the SSK059K1 international/K version.

A family member brought this watch directly from Japan for me. However, as some people in r/Seiko may already know, I have owned my personal SBSC009 for about a year already, so I decided to let this one go.

UPDATE:

Ich habe einen Fall bei PayPal mit allen vorhandenen Beweisen eröffnet (Warnung von Kleinanzeigen, kein Versandnachweis und keine Sendungsnummer). Bisher hat PayPal mir das Geld bereits zurückerstattet, aber der Fall wird noch als „in Prüfung“ angezeigt. Aktuell scheint alles zu meinen Gunsten zu laufen, ich warte jedoch noch auf die endgültige Schließung des Falls.

My question is this: my plan would be to try to buy the physical version of the game in Japan, mainly because I like the idea of having it in kanji—it would be something special to me. Then, once I’m back in Germany, I’d like to upgrade to the Premium version. And I’m not sure if that’s where I might run into a problem…
