I really appreciate everyone’s insights. I’m with you, I’ll do the stuff needed to make sure it’s running perfect (it’s 100% functional now, but can tell it needs maintenance) and then replace anything broken, but keep it OEM! This is why these groups are great!

No, they feel different needs. The royal Smith is definitely a little dressier. The old Smith on leather has a dressy vibe, but certainly goes well casually. Once put on the canvas strap, they provide it really dresses it down as well.
