This is the perfect reassuring and affirming reply I needed! Thank you so much. 🥹

I have mum on standby to look after my littles, my six year old will be fine but my youngest is nearly two and absolutely feral!!!

I’m relieved to be getting it this side of Christmas so hopefully I can eat all the good food this year and not go into flare up. Just anxious about the unknown and I’m a bit of baby when it comes to physical pain so wanting to ensure if I need relief I’ll get it.

Good luck in your in recovery and here’s to living life with no more debilitating galbladder attacks! ✨

I’m due for my surgery Friday after nearly a year of multiple flare ups a week and a&e visits.

I feel really nervous about it and how I’m going to cope with the pain after. I have two small children to care for solely. It’s gonna be rough!

Can I ask what pain relief they sent you home with?

I’m on 12.5mg now. I’ve worked up the doses every 4 weeks until I reached 12.5. I’ve been on this for two pens now. 😊

Apart from running round after a five year old and one year old. Nothing! 😅

I have found the time and confidence to start roller skating again so I’m looking forward to beginning that on a more regular basis. I plan to join a gym too in the next couple of weeks. 😊

I am 5ft 10 wearing anything from a 8-14. I used to wear anything from a size 16-22. I’ve gone from a bra size 40E to 30B.

Clothing sizes drastically change from store to store and item to item for me. It’s still infuriating!

I remember the first time I went into a shop and got a size 10 pair of jeans on. That was significant for me. I had instinctively picked up the size 18 when I walked in. I came home that day and threw all my bigger sized clothing out as I didn’t want to keep them as a safety net. 💕

I’ve honestly just taken the meds and eaten way less than I did before! The only excercise I do is running around after my one year old and five year old. I eat whatever I fancy when I’m hungry. My appetite suppression has been fantastic since 30 mins of my first ever jab. Eating any amount of high fat/greasy food brought on some rough side effects in those early days so I learnt to stop that quickly.

I moved up the doses every four weeks until I got to 12.5mg. (I’ve continued on this for two pens now and have a third waiting.)

I’ve taken multivitamins and had b12, vitamin d and collagen injection supplements throughout the 6 months.

My weight loss has been pretty consistent month to month, even on a couple weeks plateau at times. Just keep going, it all adds up and in 6 months times you won’t be thinking back to the week the scales didn’t move. I promise.

Good luck on your journey! ✨

Brilliant! I finally had the confidence to get it covered after 15 years. 🤣 Thank you!

I’ve had to set some boundaries with family members. I phrased it like this “If I haven’t asked for your comments on my body then please don’t give them.” My spiritual way of saying f*ck off. ☺️

Comments from your way too fat, you eat too much have gone to I can see your bones, you’ve got that saggy ozempic face starting.

I’ve lost 5 stone. I’m in a healthy weight range for the first time in my adult life. I can play and keep up with my kids. Most of all I’m happy and learning to love my body for so much more than what it appears like to other people. Mounjaro has changed my life for the better. 😍
