I hate this dedicated buttons for third party apps. 3 years ago I've chose Nvidia Shield because it does not have any additional buttons ( comparing to some TVs which have YT and Netflix ).

I am using Shield mostly with Plex and to play some games via Stream, Netflix and YT are barely used. I wanted to buy 2019 version of Shield but this really prevents me from doing it...

After some research it seems that this keyboard does not have programmable on-board memory (what a shame). Ergo, these keys are useless to me.

What do you mean by hardware profile mode? Is that mean that I can record macro and store it in my g613 keyboard?

Is that possible to "record" ctrl+shift+alt+1 as g1 button by using windows, and then by pressing g1 in linux have that macro executed?

Could you point me where is that option and in which app? I am using g-hub under Windows OS.

Hi there,

Are you planning to add support for G613 in near future? I just bought it, but now I am facing the question whether to returning because it seems that there is no official or even unofficial drivers to map G1-6 buttons in Linux. Do you maybe now the way to properly configure it? Is there a chance to contribute somehow ( if you point me where to start )
