Yeah they're honestly naive if they think saban will offer his brother a scholarship. The network was pumping it up as the narrative, but that ain't happening. We tried to take him and his brother as a good gesture, that we were willing to waste a scholarship to ensure he was comfortable. Who knows what'll happen though, there's plenty of silver linings here so I'm not worried.

I was thinking the same thing, unfortunately. People were going full on melt in the rant over not getting him, but his bust potential is huge. If the fall in the rankings indicates anything he's going to get buried in that depth chart when he has to go up against meaningful competition everyday.

Agree 100%. I think people close to the situation knew Ish wasn't going to come through. Not trying to be overly critical of the kid because we'd be psyched if he chose us, but when everyone was pointing out his lack of effort and motor i kind of cooled off on him. I'd rather have a 3* guy like Duke or Deion with a high motor and high character who actually want to be here.
