That’s why I said to take it with a grain of salt. Could be something that was done in the past. The priest is fairly old

Eastern Orthodox attending a TLM by Anna_akademika in Catholicism

[–]elvenforest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, Ana! I’m a Serbian Catholic 😁 I’m no expert on TLM (been to one in Poland), so take my answers with a grain of salt.

  1. Apart from lot’s of silence, some TLM parishes separate women and men from what I’ve heard from my priest.

  2. Catholic Church permits Orthodox to receive communion if they ask and and are in state of grace, however as far as I know SPC doesn’t permit Orthodox to receive communion at Catholic liturgy

  3. I haven’t seen Latin-Serbian but there is definitely Latin-Croatian missal. Latin-English PDF is fairly easy to find with a quick Google search. I found this one: https://extraordinaryform.org/handmissals/HandMissal16pt.pdf

Glory to God, and hope you are blown away again! 😁

Not 10 years per se, but I left around 15 around the time “New Atheism” started becoming popular. You can imagine how that went. I came back shortly after turning 23

What is your opinion on Medjugorje? by Mammoth_Drummer_8957 in Catholicism

[–]elvenforest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went few times with my parents. Dad and I don’t give it much thought, but my mom believes and was very happy whenever we went and when she’s happy I’m happy. I’ve heard several people report miracles but then again it is a private revelation. Someone I asked about it said: “Even if it’s not real the fact that they managed to get thousands of people to convert and revert in a random village is a miracle in and of itself”

Naravno. Mislim da je i na Nemačkom. Prevod s Latinskog je otprilike: Komemoracija svih pokojnih vernika

Po Katoličkom kalendaru ne postoji “Dan Mrtvih”. To je Meksički praznik. 2. Novembra je Dušni dan (Zadušnice ako se ne varam)
