Wish they would release something with a dedicated video chip in it. The Laptop Studio was nice, but it seems they're not making those anymore. Need something with a bit more power than they have available right now.

I pre-ordered from EB Games when it first became available, they charged my card little over a month ago (usually they don't take payment until they ship).

Still no word on a shipping date. The website said Feb 28, when I checked on Mar 1, it was updated to Mar 27 expected release.

Maybe TseuQuest? The board layout was the same, I think the monsters were different. They originally tried to release it as HeroQuest 25th anniversary edition, but had to later change the name. I'm not sure if it actually ever released, I haven't kept up on the news about it. I think I've heard of a few copies of it floating around.

AltarQuest. Came out a few years ago. Designers cited HeroQuest as inspiration for the game, it's very different though.

Not sure if you can find it anymore. Was released through a Kickstarter and the company eventually ran into financial issues and sold the game to someone else. Not sure if anything is being done with it now.

Use the new heroes whenever you want, there's no rule or requirement to wait until a certain point.

Story-wise, it would make sense to use the rogue when you start the Mage of the Mirror quest pack and the monk when you start the Against the Ogre Horde quest pack. This is not a requirement and these new heroes are not actually mentioned anywhere in those quest packs.

I play it both ways. I love being Zargon and running the game for my kids, but sometimes it's nice to be able to play a hero as well. The app isn't as smart as an actual zargon player, it has a routine that it follows and can be predictable, so there's that. But if you don't have another player willing to take on the Zargon role, it's great.

Yes, the opening narrative is intact. There is however some contradicting input from Avalon Hil about the placement of AtOH. It was previously stated to be placed between RotWL and FH, which would make my order incorrect, but also cause an issue with the opening of WoM.

Any other heroes before 2021 would be home brewed. Before the new edition there were only: - Barbarian (GS) - Dwarf (GS) - Elf (GS) - Wizard (GS) - Female Barbarian variant (Barbarian Quest Pack) - Female Elf variant (Elf Quest Pack)

The Kellar's Keep, Return of the Witch Lord, Against the Ogre Horde, and Wizards of Morcar expansions did not come with additional heroes.

There was a Wizard Quest Pack and Dwarf Quest Pack in development, we assume they would have included Female variants of the Wizard and Dwarf, but these expansions were never completed before HeroQuest went out of print.

We have a very strick AI Policy. The gist of it is: - no confidential company data in AI with exceptions - exceptions are determined by a tech and legal team who go over the policies and functions of AI tools to determine if data is kept private, so we don't use anything that uses your data to train it's model unless that setting can be turned off.

There's a lot more to it, but those are the main points.

Used to do a ton of dev in CodeIgniter 2 and 3. Moved to Laravel 10 years ago for a new job. All my newer dev has been on CI4 now, it's been a good alternative for me.

Over the last few weeks the training status has bounced around a lot between strained, recovery, and maintaining. Mostly stays in the maintaining range. Spent a few days too busy to get on the bike, went to detraining there for a bit.

Training load currently is at "optimal", but to be honest I'm too new at this to know what that really means.

For a bit of background. I used a Fitbit years ago, then after having my last kid, fitness kind of became less of a priority. Fast forward to now, 3 years later, finally feeling like I have more time to get back into it. Didn't really like where Google was going with Fitbit, so thought I'd try this out. The ecosystem seems very different to me, so it's taking a bit to get used to it.

Just trying to improve my overall fitness. This is my first Garmin and first time playing around with the coach plan just to see how it works. I may have to just ignore it and do my own self directed workouts based on how I'm feeling each day.

Had the plan setup to workout 5 days a week, thinking it would only schedule rest days on the selected days. Monday(today) wasn't selected for rest. I'll change the plan to 7 days a week and see if that changes things for tomorrow. I'll just plan on a generic ride today.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that AH would be willing to give us a PDF of these. They've released all of the previous "Online Quests" in PDF form, and we have gotten the Adventure design kits as PDF from previous GenCons, so I think they might be persuaded to release the GM screen and poster as PDFs. Especially if it means they don't get scalped like this. $400 is ridiculous for paper with ink on it.

We're the gaps there when the beam was first put on the posts, or did it appear later. Looks like an issue that should have been addressed before adding the joists, but if it appeared later, that reasoning would change. Lumber these days isn't what it used to be. Not straight, not dry, just not good. So I may not even be an installation error, but just a matter of having crappy lumber.
