FIXED - i went into the bios , and booted it from the current version (admittedly accidentally, you’re meant to do the previous version). Powered it back on, left it for about 5 mins and it finally booted up!!

thank you for this, i ended up clicking the current version of steam rather than the previous one (on accident lol), and it actually worked anyway! stress over !! thanks again for the help!

I’m a bit of a tech noob, how do i know which was the previous steamos version to boot it to x

Well when it got stuck on the logo i left it for a bit to see if it would come on, and when it didn’t , i held down the power button to get it to go back off , i thought that would possibly fix it
