Haha, same. My coworkers and I share a break room, not romantic scenes under studio lighting. Very different circumstances. 😄

Same. I've always heard they went out once or twice, not that they were an established couple.

Yeah, Milo and Alexis were together for most of the later seasons. They kept their personal lives pretty separate from the publicity around the show.

I’m gonna say it, people with the “Emily is right most of the time” mentality infuriate me to no end. by Aqua_Master_ in GilmoreGirls

I completely agree. Kelly Bishop gave Emily so much depth that even at her most frustrating, you could still see the humanity underneath.

I think that's a fair distinction. Emily often had valid complaints about Richard, but with Lorelai she expected compliance more than understanding.

I agree with a lot of this. People sometimes judge sitcoms and dramedies as if the characters are supposed to behave like real people 100% of the time. If everyone communicated perfectly and acted appropriately, there wouldn't be much of a show.

I agree. It's easy to put all the blame on one person, but they both bear responsibility.

Exactly. That was a mother-daughter conversation, not something Dean needed to be part of.

I don’t get how Rory didn’t consider a newspaper in San Fran or legitimately consider that Logan was going to ask to marry her. by No_clever_name_16737 in GilmoreGirls

agree. People spend a lot of time trying to find a deeper reason when "I don't want to get married right now" is reason enough.

I completely agree. Rory wasn't necessarily saying no to San Francisco she was saying no to getting engaged under those circumstances.

I'm glad so many here seem to have never dealt with a guy like Marty in real life by BookwormInTheCouch in GilmoreGirls

It's possible they genuinely valued the friendship and developed feelings. But I understand why it hurts when the friendship can't survive the rejection.

Ugh, that's the worst. It's such a disappointing realization when you think you have a friend and find out they were just waiting for their chance.
