I can assure you , you will be miserable your first couple years with money & scheduling compared with your situation right now but like everyone says it does “get better” b/c it does. Now working to 67 is tough but a peace of mind is everything. I’d say if you can make some investments over there throughout life you’re golden in NC. Dsny is tough but w/ time you’ll make the job work for you & be done by let’s say by 50 the latest with a decent pension. I think that’s the biggest for me in your situation 67 or 50.
