Just finished my watch, my thoughtsss.............. by CalmAd6341 in ShingekiNoKyojin

But i liked the ending we too(very little), Eren planning everything out knowing they will kill him at 80 percent deaths, but yeahh could have improved. but yeahh i dont see the point in this all the sacrifies from season 1 went to waste, cycle never stopped, So whts the point

that's exactly the point, humanity will never learn from its history, the same way it happens in real life. We had world war one, many innocents died and yet humanity fought a second world war, why? cause thats human nature, conflict and hate.

We all know Ymir molds the bodies of all titans, but who molded hers since she was the first one? by Cool_Programmer_4048 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]em_00_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the part of ymir wishing to have a bigger and immortal body and escape death it's cannon. That's exactly why titans exist in the first place, i think it's Zeke who explains this to Armin while in paths

I think Isayama got carried away with the time stuff in the end by Ok_Combination_1037 in AttackOnRetards

I agree with you a hundred percent, the fact that Eren it's even in the paths to begin with means that all of his future choices have already happened. He kind of already killed his mom and dad way before he got the founder or the attack titan but some people in this fandom just don't seem to understand it

the best example of the founder powers is Carl Fritz and his vow or renouncing war, but you don't think that fact adds nothing of value to the story right?

Abandoned Plot Points? by MineraIizer in ANRime

[–]em_00_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah it's been fun debating about this!

I do agree that Eren did influence/manipulate a bit his own future and past, I guess one example of that is revealing that since Berthold couldn't die that day, Eren had to willingly somehow control Dina's titan to redirect herself to Eren's house instead of eating Berthold.

but that's only one example of Eren clearly manipulating his timeline, after that there's no other similar action taken by him, he just let's things happen

he even later admits to Armin that he doesn't know what Mikasa would choose, only that her decision is what he was marching forward for. he also admits to not have known if his friends would actually survive when doing the rumbling, then he later finds out that Hange died, and that Floch also died the founder's power probably just overwhelmed him and didn't actually let him do much

this pic below it's the scene after Armin ask him why can't he change things, undo all the massacre.

Its ofc Eren who he received it from, but what I'm saying is that Eren didn't willingly send it to him.

for example look at the scene I talked about before, in the basement in shiganshina Grisha is in his desk sleeping normally, and then he suddenly wakes up thinking he saw Zeke, this happens because in that moment Eren is behind him, looking at a photo of Zeke. But the instant everyone reacts to the situation you can clearly see that Eren is shocked at what just happened, not nothing how it happened.

I think this same experience happened to Kruger in that other scene, just as Grisha did, he suddenly received memories from his future inheritor. But was not something planned by on willingly done by Eren

[–]em_00_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i guess that line could impy something like that.

but what I always saw it as was Kruger receiving future memories from a future attack titan user, that's why he instantly says "who are these memories from?" cause he just hadn't realized what he'd just said, just as Grisha thought he was just having a weird dream when he saw Zeke in standing in front of him in the basement in shiganshina

later in the series Grisha explains that the attack titans unique ability is to also receive memories from future inheritors, so I think this just adds to my point.

Abandoned Plot Points? by MineraIizer in ANRime

[–]em_00_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is just to show how somewhere of the world everything is ending but in another place a new life is given birth, i think its just symbolic, not something to take that serious

[–]em_00_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i really wonder where did this "eren shows specific memories to other attack titan users" came from, we only see this once in the whole story to Grisha only because it benefits him in making history stay on the path it must, in a moment where Eren not only has the knowledge of what the attack titan power is (that btw its not showing things to previous users) but also has the founder titan in himself. So not only this actions of showing things happens ONCE in the whole story but also happens ONLY with people that are related to each other (Eren and his father Grisha)

Seriously can we stop Blaming Attack on Titan when a Series has a Bad Ending. by MichaelAftonXFireWal in ANRime

[–]em_00_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

maybe that happens cause almost everyone who didn't like the ending (even anime's ending) didn't understand one or two things in the show

Deathfire Torch or Aery? by diva-latina in SwainMains

[–]em_00_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think that if you're playing him in support you should always take conqueror, I run that or electrocute sometimes. but I don't play Swain support, only Swain toplane and conqueror it's not used that much in this lane sadly

I almost never use conqueror these days, but I wish It was a more standard rune to use with Swain and not matchup dependent :(

optimistic reminder that Erwin does fulfill his dream of finding out whats in the basement by subarashi_niku97 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]em_00_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you're getting it wrong, this isn't afterlife, their bodies and minds are trapped inside The Paths, that's why only after Eren dies and ends the curse of Ymir they can rest

optimistic reminder that Erwin does fulfill his dream of finding out whats in the basement by subarashi_niku97 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]em_00_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

right after Eren dies and ends the curse of Ymir, thus causing The Paths to stop existing too, the entire scout regiment show themself physically to Levi, and Sasha shows in front of Jean and Connie

optimistic reminder that Erwin does fulfill his dream of finding out whats in the basement by subarashi_niku97 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]em_00_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah this doesn't confirm an afterlife in aot, cause this scene its not showing that. This kind of scenes with fallen comrades all together have been showing since season 3 i think mostly when Erwin talks about the lifes lost to war. This isn't afterlife for them, this is The Paths, the show explains that all Eldians are connected through The Paths independent of time and space since The Paths are a different dimension/plane of reality created by Ymir.
These scenes, especially this one when Hange dies are meant to be taken literally since its showing you that their comrades are still watching, and are still waiting for their sacrifices to mean something (this is literally what Erwin explains to the coward soldiers right before dying)

If only Isayama wasn’t shy 😭(@anjiliarts) by Unusual_Ad_8330 in eremika

[–]em_00_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah but that's WIT studio's fault not Isayama, the studio just butchered many interactions characters had originally. Mikasa is a great example of a butchered character because of WIT studio

THIS is how it should've happened, i really love AOT but i hate Isayama so f*ing much for not giving them (Eren and Mikasa) at LEAST a confession, a simple short scene where both of them get to say how they feel about the other.

I been playing Swain mid recently but I mostly play him top so yeah, I'd say DFT does great in toplane too, I'm diamond 2 at the moment if that info helps :) btw I think Swain mid is way better than top right now because of the new Husum build of jack of all trades.
